Complex situations
The evaluation of complex corporate structures can be necessary, especially in large companies. In addition to official hierarchies and functions, which are laid down in the organizational chart, personal and/or non-transparent factors (planned restructuring, cost-cutting measures) can play a significant role for decisions in the company. You might have thoughts like "something is off here". This can be very frustrating and can be weakening your motivation to work. I believe it is necessary to take your concerns seriously. Of course, you might overreact or misinterpret the situation. During the coaching process we explore the different aspects (see below here) that might lead to the uncomfortable situation.
In most companies we find people with different cultural backgrounds. It is well know that the way of thinking, communication and conflict resolution differs in cultures. Still because of daily routines or time pressure or other reasons we tend to ignore this until we have misunderstandings, frustration and seemingly insoluble conflicts.
In the coaching process we will explore the different aspects/ layers that interlock
- changes in the economy and society an law, restrictions, which have an impact on the companys structure and well beeing
- the official layer (organizational chart, system), in which the (steep or flat) hierarchy, as well as functions and activities are assigned
